These bookmarks are perfect for reading your favorite book!
They are made with a very special and traditional technique called "laca perfilada" ["profiled lacquer"] typical of the artisans of Pátzcuaro, Michoacán in Mexico. Each piece is carved in wood properly polished and with several layers of lacquer that make each bookmark to have a smooth and shiny surface, the delicate decorations are hand painted with oil painting.
